The entire evening was completely personalized to us through several planning sessions and a comprehensive online portal. Mike spent several sessions, both in person and over the phone, getting to know us as a couple, to ensure the entertainment was a reflection of us. I was not a traditional bride, and requested more modern, acoustic music played for my ceremony. Mike immediately played several clips for us that was exactly what I was thinking. For my reception, I wanted a good mix of music that everyone could enjoy, from the music of my parent’s generation, to the 90’s hits that I grew up with. Mike had everyone dancing and singing on the dance floor right after dinner with excellent insight for timing of the bouquet toss, anniversary dance, etc. After the wedding, many of my guests came up to me to say what a great time they had, and that was certainly due in part to Mike’s services.
Mike also came to visit our venue with us a few times prior to the wedding. It was held at an old estate, and not being designed for weddings, required some creativity to ensure guests could all see and hear what was going on. Mike suggested several set-ups, and worked with us to pick the one that we liked most. Even though we had guests spread out in the house, everyone could hear toasts and speeches clearly. Mike was also vital in the flow of the evening, ensuring that the festivities were not rushed, but timed well for the night.
